UPDATE ON JADE
In
case you haven't heard or just thought it was a rumor, the rumors
are true, Jade is no longer a member of INJECTED. Jade is
doing well and has begun to work on an exciting new project. According
to Jade, "I have an album written and I'm currently recording
the demos for it with a really good friend of mine." If

Two
new CD's feature "Bullet". One is the new MAXIM
ROCKS CD which also features many bands Injected has toured with
including Greenwheel, American Hi-Fi, Deadsy, Hoobastank and Default,
among others. The second CD is a TARGET store exclusive called
THE SOUND which also features tracks from Andrew WK, Alien Ant Farm,
Papa Roach, Jimmy Eat World, Unwritten Law, Nelly Furtado, Lifehouse,
New Found Glory and Nickelback.

'SHORTLISTS' BURN IT BLACK
Lars
Ulrich of Metallica has included BURN IT BLACK in his "shortlist"
submitted to the annual Shortlist Music Project. Injected's
debut is one of 75 albums being considered for the award which recognizes
the best albums by emerging artists. The field will be narrowed
to ten on Sept. 17th with a winner picked at a ceremony in L.A.
on October 29th. Nominees are chosen by group of musicians, video
and film directors, and other music industry professionals. Other
nominees include Cee-Lo, Andrew W.K., The Vines, The Hives, and
Wilco. Get all the details at the Shortlist

JADE AT THE GIBSON CUSTOM GUITAR SHOP
Jade
took advantage of his time off and headed up to Nashville and Gibson's
Custom Guitar Shop to take a tour and get a new custom axe. Check
out the
two pictures at the Gibson site (once there click "view
current gallery" and click past the Zakk Wylde shots).

NEW IDOBI RADIO INTERVIEW
IDOBIRADIO.COM
is broadcasting a new interview conducted July 31st in D.C. at the
9:30 Club. It will be rebroadcast on IDOBIRADIO.COM
today at 7 p.m. and August 3rd and 4th at 6 p.m. Starting
August 8th it will be available for download at their website.

'BIB' RELEASE IN JAPAN WITH BONUS TRACKS
Burn
it Black will be released in Japan on July 24th and will include
two bonus tracks, "Ruby" and "Strange and Beautiful".
"Ruby" is the old favorite that is still played
live regularly. "Strange and Beautiful" is an 8-minute
melodic rocker that doesn't really sound like anything else on the
album. Each song has much of Butch Walker's touch and influence.
I don't have any leads on where this version of 'BIB' can
be purchased here in the States.

JADE BREAKS ONE
Jade
broke his hand and will be out for a bit but NO shows will be
canceled. Look for Injected to return to their roots as
a three-piece for the next couple of shows. This will be a
rare occurrence so check it out while you can! (this is all
the info I have, I'll post new info as I get it)

will be included on the MTV/WWF
"Tough Enough 2" soundtrack scheduled to hit stores
May 14th. Injected joins Puddle of Mudd, Staind, Cold, Rob
Zombie, Limp Bizkit, Queens of the Stone Age, and more.
The Spider-Man movie soundtrack with "I-IV-V" is the 4th
biggest selling album this week followed by The Scorpion King soundtrack
featuring "Burn it Black" at number 12 according to Soundscan
charts.

ON THE SPIDER-MAN MOVIE SOUNDTRACK
 Injected
makes another appearance on an action movie soundtrack with the
addition of their song I-IV-V to the Spider-man
movie soundtrack. They join Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm, Default,
and many others on the soundtrack of one of the most anticipated
movies of the year. The soundtrack hits stores April 30th.
Injected tracks can also be found on The Scorpion King
soundtrack and More Music from the Fast and the Furious.

movie "The Scorpion King". The movie is the third installment
in "The Mummy" series and stars professional wrestler
'The Rock'. The album comes out March 26th and the
movie follows on April 19th. VH1
